Our greatest goal is to give you the healthy, straight, beautiful smile that you’ve always wanted. We understand that choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision, and we respect your reasons for wanting to improve the way you look and feel. Our practice will work with you every step of the way to make sure that your orthodontic care is as rewarding as possible. Our practice utilizes the latest technology, offering a variety of safe and gentle treatment options to give you the customized, individual care you deserve.
Every smile starts with an initial consultation!
Your initial consultation will give you the opportunity to meet our team, learn more about orthodontics, receive a complete initial exam, and find out which treatment options will best meet your needs. During your initial consultation, we will:
- Review your dental and medical history forms
- Provide a complete oral exam, with X-rays, to determine whether treatment is necessary
- Help you create a customized treatment plan
- Discuss all financial information, insurance options, and payment plans
Our team will be glad to answer any questions you may have, and we will provide all of the information that you need to determine which treatment is right for you. Please contact our practice to schedule your initial consultation.
What happens after the initial consultation?
You’re one step closer to achieving the smile you’ve always wanted! After your consultation, we will schedule your first appointment and your doctor will place your new orthodontic appliance. This appointment generally takes about an hour, and during this time our team will be available to make sure that you are as comfortable as possible.
Visiting the orthodontist about every four to eight weeks is an important part of your orthodontic treatment. Our practice will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. When scheduling appointments, please let us know what days and times work best for you.
We understand that “life happens”! If you’re running late or need to reschedule, please let us know and we will do everything we can to accommodate you. When you’re ready to schedule your first appointment, contact our practice and our friendly scheduling coordinator will assist you. We’re looking forward to working with you.
Visiting the dentist during orthodontic treatment
It is very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every six months, even during your orthodontic treatment, for teeth cleanings and routine dental checkups. If extra dental care is needed, we will be happy to coordinate with your family dentist to make sure that you are receiving the best care possible.
Please take a minute to print and fill out the patient information form before your first appointment:

The cost of your orthodontic treatment will vary depending on your individual needs and treatment plan. Our staff will discuss with you the cost of your treatment and each available payment plan option, so that you can make the best choice for you and your smile. We will work with you to create a payment plan that fits your budget, and you will know what to expect before beginning treatment.
Affordable Payment Plans
Your smile is yours forever, and we want to make it as easy as possible for you to receive the best orthodontic care whenever you need it.
** Our practice accepts most major credit cards and insurance plans. **

Please let us know if you have any questions about your insurance coverage or ideas about how we can make your entire orthodontic experience a pleasant one.
Best orthodontist in Fort Worth! Super friendly staff and just an overall excellent experience every time I go in. Would highly recommend 🙂

I LOVE this place! Everything about it is amazing! The staff is very attentive and makes you feel like a part of the family. I am 29 years old and I was always picked on and bullied because of the gap in front of my teeth. That made me feel very insecure about my smile. I got my braces and started my treatment. Dr. Patel was wonderful and very professional and down to earth. 10 months later they gave me a reason to smile at life again. I can't believe I spent years insecure and it only took 10 months to give me back the self confidence I needed to enjoy life to the fullest. I would like to thank the whole staff for bringing me and my smile back to life.

This is by far my favorite place to be PERIOD!!!! Not just my favorite orthodontist office but literally my favorite place to be! Every single person in that office is AMAZING!!! I LOVE THEM ALL!!! There's always a laugh, always a smile and always good music playing. Dr. Patel is so going easy going and such a great guy. ALL of the assistants rock my socks off. I can't stand the thought of never seeing them again so once my treatment is over I'll be taking my daughter. Don't miss this place! I promise you've never experienced service, professionalism, quality and overall job satisfaction like this!!!

Love the staff, they’re friendly & very knowledgeable. They made my teenager’s 18 month experience in braces a walk in the park. His teeth look amazing and are white as can be! I love how much he takes care of his teeth now after their help and encouragement.

I am one of their more senior patients. I am 67 years old. I can’t say enough about their professionalism, graciousness, patience and desire to make sure you are pleased. Old teeth can move a little slower and with a little less predictability than young teeth. That is not an excuse to not get a great smile.

Frequently Asked Questions About Orthodontics

How can I take care of my teeth if I'm wearing braces or a retainer?
- ALWAYS remember to brush your teeth after every meal and floss at least once a day.
- Make sure to use toothpaste that contains fluoride, and ask your orthodontist or family dentist if you need a fluoride rinse. This will help prevent cavities!
- If you take out your retainer to eat, make sure you brush your teeth, floss, and remember to keep it safe in its container so that it does not get lost or broken.
- Keep your retainer clean, too, by brushing it gently with a toothbrush and toothpaste. You may also soak it in denture cleaner as instructed by your orthodontist. Do not put your retainer in boiling water or in the dishwasher.
- During your treatment, try to avoid foods with a lot of sugar, which increases the amount of bacteria that grows in your mouth, causing more plaque and possibly cavities.
- Avoid sticky and chewy foods (caramel, chewing gum, gummy bears), hard foods (hard candy, nuts, ice cubes), or any foods that could possibly get stuck in your braces (corn on the cob, soft bagels, ribs, taffy, etc.).
- Be sure to schedule your routine checkups with your family dentist. It is recommended that you continue to visit the dentist every six months.
What are braces?
Braces are used by your orthodontist to help you improve the look and feel of your smile. There are several different types of braces to choose from, including:
- Clear braces
- Ceramic braces
- Lingual braces
- Self-ligating braces
- Invisible braces
- Traditional metal braces
